Description
St. Mary’s Health Center provides free primary health care and free access to labs, radiology, diagnostic testing, health education, cancer prevention screenings and inpatient hospitalization through St. Joseph’s/Candler Health System to patients whose income falls 200% below the federal poverty level. The clinic is staffed by nurse practitioners. As an administrative assistant the volunteer will answer phones and schedule appointments, assist with new patient intake, and coordinate and monitor patient referrals to specialty care.
